The closing ceremony of the Confucius Classroom at the University of Rezekne for the 2023-2024 academic year concluded successfully 雷泽克内大学孔子课堂2023-2024学年结业典礼圆满结束
At 4 pm local time on 15th May, 2024, Professor Peteris Pildegovics, the director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia from Latvian side, Professor He Dong, the director from Chinese side, with his wife Ms. Tao Liping, and secretary MS Anastasija Galkina went to Rezekne to attend the event. The graduation ceremony of the Chinese course for the 2023-2024 academic year at the Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies.
Ms. Jeļena Volkova, Head of the Centre for Lifelong Learning, Anita Strode, Lifelong Learning coordinator, Aija Vonoga, Coordinator of International Lifelong Learning and Chinese Coordinator of the Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies, and others warmly received the guests. Also participating in the ceremony were 10 Chinese learners and Chinese volunteer teacher Yang Yidan from the Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies.
At the beginning of the event, Professor Peteris Pildegovics and Professor He Dong delivered speeches. Afterwards, Professor Peteris Pildegovics introduced himself in Chinese and Latvian, and introduced the two books “My Chinese Story” and “Selected Translation of Tang Poems” in detail, and held a book donation ceremony. Then, Professor He Dong delivered a speech, summarizing the students’ Chinese learning at this stage and encouraging students to continue learning Chinese. The students actively participated in the question-and-answer session, and the two professors answered their questions one by one. The response was enthusiastic.
Finally, Professor Peteris Pildegovics and Professor He Dong awarded completion certificates to the students of the Confucius Classroom at Rezekne Academy of Technologies.
当地时间2024年5月15日下午四点，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院拉方院长贝德高教授、中方院长何东教授及其夫人陶丽萍女士、秘书高安娜女士一行亲赴雷泽克内参加雷泽克内大学孔子课堂2023-2024学年中文课程结业典礼。
终身学习中心主任Jeļena Volkova女士、终身学习中心协调员Anita Strode、国际终身学习协调员及雷泽克内大学孔子课堂中文负责人Aija Vonoga等人热情接待。参与此次典礼的还有雷泽克内大学孔子课堂10多位中文学习者及中文志愿者教师杨一丹。
活动伊始，贝德高教授和何东教授发言致辞。而后，贝德高教授用中文和拉脱维亚语进行了自我介绍，并详细介绍了《我的中国故事》和《唐诗选译》这两本书，进行了赠书仪式。接着，何东教授发表了讲话，他对学生们这一阶段的中文学习进行总结，并鼓励学生继续学习中文。学生们积极参与问答环节，两位教授为学生一一解惑，现场反响热烈。
最后，贝德高教授、何东教授为雷泽克内大学孔子课堂的学员们颁发结业证书，大家合影留念，本次活动圆满结束。
