The Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia and the University of Rezekne have deepened cooperation and exchanges in Confucius classrooms / 拉脱维亚大学孔子学院与雷泽克内大学深化孔子课堂合作交流

当地时间2025年5月26日下午13:20，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院拉方院长贝德高教授、中方院长何东教授及夫人陶丽萍女士、秘书高安娜女士一行亲赴雷泽克内大学，对近一年孔子课堂的运行情况进行了实地考察。雷泽克内大学科学与创新中心副主任Olga Vindača女士热情接待了来访团队。

交流会上，双方回顾了过去一学年孔子课堂的教学成果与文化活动开展情况，就今后孔子课堂的发展规划进行了深入探讨与洽谈。贝德高教授还向雷泽克内大学赠送了其翻译作品《唐代诗歌选》（Tan laikmeta dzejas izlase），以促进中拉文化的交流与理解。

此次活动加强了双方的合作关系，推动了孔子课堂的持续发展。交流结束后，双方共同合影留念，活动圆满完成。

At 13:20 local time on May 26, 2025, Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs, the Latvian director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, and Professor He Dong, the Chinese director, accompanied by his wife, Ms. Tao Liping, and the secretary, Ms. Anastasija Galkina, visited the Rezekne Academy at Riga Technical University to conduct an on-site inspection of the Confucius Classroom’s operations over the academic year. Ms. Olga Vindača, Deputy Director of Innovation at the Rezekne Academy at Riga Technical University, warmly welcomed the visiting team.

At the exchange meeting, both sides reviewed the teaching achievements and cultural activities of the Confucius Classroom over the past academic year and held in-depth discussions and negotiations about its future development plans. Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs also presented his translation, Selected Poems of the Tang Dynasty (Latvian: Tan laikmeta dzejas izlase), to the Rezekne Academy at Riga Technical University to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China and Latvia.

This event strengthened the cooperative relationship between the two institutions and promoted the continued development of the Confucius Classroom. After the exchange, the participants took a group photo as a memento, and the event concluded successfully.
