The first Chinese class of Riga 64 Secondary School started successfully

At 15:00 local time on October 17, 2022, Riga 64 Secondary School successfully held the first Chinese class. This is the first Chinese class of this school year, and it is also the first offline Chinese class in Riga 64 Secondary School after two years. This semester’s Chinese class is taught by Yidan Yang, a volunteer Chinese teacher.

Before the class, Teacher Yang welcomed the students, and introduced herself, then told the students about her indissoluble bond with Latvia. Afterwards, Teacher Yang asked the students to introduce themselves. For example their names, their understanding of China, and why they learned Chinese.

In the formal class, Teacher Yang started with “Hello” and asked the students to speak Chinese.  Under the guidance of Teacher Yang, the students actively participated in the part of saying “hello”, and the atmosphere of the class was ignited at once.  After that,  Teacher Yang gave each student a blank piece of paper and asked them to write the Chinese character “你好” on the paper. This was their first attempt to write Chinese characters, so everyone showed great enthusiasm, the classroom atmosphere was instantly ignited. Then, Teacher Yang introduced Chinese from strokes, stroke order, pinyin, initials, finals, tones and led the students to learn the four tones and six finals “a, o, e, i, u, ü” in Chinese. Finally, Teacher Yang collected the students’ personal information and promised that they would give them a Chinese name that only belongs to them based on their name and birthday.

The first Chinese class ended with the laughter and laughter of the students. Let us all look forward to the more brilliant opening of the Flower of Chinese Language in Riga 64 Secondary School.

当地时间2022年10月17日15时,里加64中学成功开展了第一节汉语课,这是本学年的第一节汉语课,也是时隔两年后,里加64中学的第一次线下中文课。本学期的汉语课由汉语志愿者教师杨一丹进行教授。

上课前,杨一丹老师首先对学生表示欢迎,并进行了自我介绍,和学生讲了自己与拉脱维亚的不解之缘。之后,杨老师让学生从姓名、对中国的了解、为什么学汉语等几个方面进行自我介绍。

正式上课时,杨老师从“你好”入手,让同学们开口说汉语。在杨老师的引导下,同学们都积极参与到说“你好”的环节中,课堂气氛一下子点燃了。之后,杨老师给每个学生发了一张白纸,让同学们把“你好”两个字写在纸上,这是他们第一次尝试写汉字,大家都表现出了极大的热情,课堂气氛被瞬间点燃。接着,杨老师从笔画、笔顺、拼音、声母、韵母、声调等多个方面介绍汉语,并带领学生学习了汉语的四个声调和六个韵母“a、o、e、i、u、ü”。最后,杨老师收集了学生的个人信息,承诺他们会根据他们的姓名和生日为他们取一个只属于他们的汉语名字。

第一节汉语课就在学生们的欢声笑语中结束了,让我们共同期待汉语之花在里加64中学开放得更加灿烂。
