2019-2020 Year-End Summary Meeting of All Teachers of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia
当地时间6月6日下午4点，由于疫情原因，拉脱维亚大学孔子学院全体成员通过zoom平台进行了一场特别的线上年终工作总结大会。拉脱维亚大学孔子学院外方院长贝德高教授、中方院长尚劝余教授、秘书玛丽娅、拉脱维亚本土汉语教师马笑笑，以及孔子学院全体汉语教师志愿者参加了会议。
首先，外方院长贝德高教授和中方院长尚劝余教授向与会全体人员致以问候，他表示今年情况非常特殊，因为疫情的原因，第一次以线上会议的形式进行年终工作总结。但这也是一次独特、难忘的经历，他对2019-2020学年拉脱维亚大学孔子学院的工作成果表示了肯定。
接下来各教学点的志愿者教师分别总结了本学期的工作，分享了许多自我总结的工作经验和工作方法。一年的汉语教学工作有笑有泪，但更多的还是满满的幸福与收获。大家也积极提出关于教学及课堂管理的想法和不足，为拉脱维亚大学孔子学院未来的汉语教学提供新思路。
最后，中方院长尚劝余在总结发言中，确定了未来孔子学院发展的方向，期待孔子学院全体师生继续为汉语教学和中国文化的传播增砖添瓦，祝愿拉脱八期所有志愿者都有光明的前途和美好的未来。
拉脱八期，未来可期！
At 4 p.m. local time on June 6, due to the epidemic, all members of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia conducted a special online year-end work summary meeting through the Zoom software. Professor Pildegovics, director of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, Professor Shang Quanyu, director of the Chinese side, Ms. Maria, secretary of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia, Ms. Ma Xiaoxiao, the native Chinese teacher of Latvia, and all Chinese teachers at the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the summary meeting, Professor Shang send a simple greeting to all the staff of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia. He said that this year’s situation was very special. Because of the epidemic situation, the first year-end work summary was moved to online for the first time. The unique and memorable experience also affirmed the work of the Confucius Institute of the University of Latvia in 2019-2020.
Next, the volunteer Chinese teachers at each school summarized their year’s work and shared their experiences. A year of Chinese teaching has laughter and tears, but more of it is full of happiness and gains. Everyone also actively put forward ideas and deficiencies about teaching and class management, which laid the foundation for future Chinese language teaching at the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia.
In the end, Professor Shang and Professor Pildegovics finalize the direction of the future development of the Confucius Institute in his concluding speech, he looked forward to all the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute continue to contribute to the spread of Chinese and Chinese culture.
