Professors of Fudan University successfully hold a lecture in Faculty of Humanities at University of Latvia

当地时间2019年9月27日上午10时30分,复旦大学世界经济研究所所长万广华教授和复旦大学法学院龚柏华教授应邀来到拉脱维亚大学人文学院分别举办了题为《中国中长期增长前景》和《WTO改革:中国-欧盟立场比较和合作建议》的讲座。拉脱维亚大学孔子学院汉语教师王琼子老师和其他汉语教师志愿者及来自拉脱维大学孔子学院、经济学院、法学院的学生们出席了本次讲座。

万广华教授在题为《中国中长期增长前景》的讲座中,回答了中国经济中长期增长前景的三个问题,分别是中国经济增长减速是否意味着其经济长期下降的趋势,中国经济增长减速的主要原因是什么,有何解决措施。

龚柏华教授在题为《WTO改革:中国-欧盟立场比较和合作建议》的讲座中,对比了中国与欧盟在WTO改革中的立场,并在WTO这场曲折的改革中双方如何合作及避免冲突提出了建议。

讲座最后,两位教授针对听众的问题做了详细解答。最后,讲座在观众的掌声中圆满结束。

At 10:30 on September 27, 2019,local time, Professor Wan Guanghua, Director of the Institute of World Economics of Fudan University, and Professor Gong Baihua from Faculty of law of Fudan University were invited to Faculty of Humanities at University of Latvia to hold the lecture titled “China’s Growth Prospect in the Medium and long run” and “WTO Reform: Position from China and EU: Comparison and Cooperation”. Wang Qiongzi, a Chinese teacher at the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, other Chinese volunteer teachers and students from the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, also the students from Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law attended the lecture.

In the lecture entitled “China’s Growth Prospect in the Medium and long run”, Professor Wan Guanghua answered three questions about the medium and long-term growth prospects of China’s economy. Whether China’s economic slowdown means a long-term decline in its economy? What is the main reason for the slowdown of China’s economic growth and what are the solutions?

In the lecture entitled “WTO Reform: Position from China and EU: Comparison and Cooperation”, Professor Gong Baihua compared China’s and EU’s positions in WTO reform, and how the two sides cooperate and avoid conflicts in the tortuous reform of the WTO. He gave some suggestions about these problems.

At the end of the lecture, the two professors gave detailed answers to the questions of the audience. Finally, the lecture ended in the applause of the audience.
