“One World One Family” ——The 16th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Competition in Latvia was Successfully Concluded

2019年4月12日至13日,在中国国家汉办(HANBAN)“汉语桥”基金支持下,主题为“天下一家”的拉脱维亚第十六届“汉语桥”中文比赛在拉脱维亚大学举行。此次比赛由中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆主办,拉脱维亚大学孔子学院承办,拉脱维亚大学人文学院、斯特拉京什大学中国研究中心、里加工业大学、交通与电信大学、道加瓦皮尔斯大学、雷泽克内大学、维泽梅大学、拉脱维亚生命科学与技术大学、拉脱维亚文化学院、文茨皮尔斯大学、利耶帕亚大学、里加文化中学、里加第34中学、叶尔加瓦斯比杜拉中学、克拉斯拉瓦中学、叶卡布皮尔斯中学、斯米尔提恩中学、蒙特梭利探索小学、新马露白小学协办。中国驻拉脱维亚大使馆临时代办孙应来先生及相关代表、拉脱维亚华侨华人联合会、孔子学院拉方院长贝德高教授、中方院长尚劝余教授、汉语教师、在校学生、汉语爱好者和媒体界人士150余人出席并观摩了比赛。

大使馆临时代办孙应来先生在致辞中分享了诗歌《民歌》,它的与众不同是在被拉脱维亚诗人翻译之后,被赋予了新的生命和新的内涵。这首诗歌,也正是两国文化交融的产物。其次他还指出“文明因交流而多彩,文明因互鉴而丰富”,进一步说明了文化交流的重要性,而“汉语桥”正是承接起中拉友谊的桥梁。

拉脱维亚大学孔子学院拉方院长贝德高教授和中方院长尚劝余教授在致辞中提到:中国语言文化在拉脱维亚日益普及,汉语桥是中拉文化交流的一个渠道,架起了中拉友好的桥梁;其次少年儿童参赛者居多,说明汉语受到越来越多少年儿童的喜爱。

今年参加汉语桥比赛的选手共62人,其中,大学成人组参赛选手14名,中学生组24名,小学生组24名。选手们围绕自我介绍、主题演讲、中国知识问答、才艺展示等环节进行了激烈角逐。他们热情洋溢的演讲和精彩的中华才艺展示。最后来自孔子学院本部的刘劳拉、来自孔子学院本部的宋意晴和来自拉脱维亚大学人文学院的雷雅晶分别荣获了大学成人高级组、中级组和初级组的一等奖,来自里加Anninmuižas 中学的贝娜茜、来自里加三十四中学的妮卡和来自里加古典中学的达娜分别荣获了中学高级组、中级组和初级组的一等奖,来自里加四十中学的丹尼尔、来自里加三十四中学的安娜和来自里加Anninmuižas 中学的丹尼斯分别荣获了小学高级组、中级组和初级组的一等奖。部分获奖者将代表拉脱维亚前往中国参加和观摩2019年“汉语桥”世界大学生和中学生中文比赛,与世界各国优秀汉语学习者交流互动,并且获得2019-2020年度中国政府奖学金的优先推荐权。

作为波罗的海汉语教学的中心,拉脱维亚的汉语教学近年来开展得有声有色,汉语推广事业蒸蒸日上。此次第十六届“汉语桥”中文比赛的圆满成功再次将拉脱维亚的汉语推广推向了新的高度,中拉两国彼此间的文化交流将进一步得到加强。

From April 12 to 13, 2019, the 16th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese competition in Latvia was held at the University of Latvia with the support of HANBAN’s “Chinese Bridge” fund. The competition, regarding One World One Family as the theme, was hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Latvia, organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, co-organized by Faculty of Humanities at the University of Latvia, China Studies Center at Stradins University, Riga Technical University, Transport and Telecommunication Institute, Daugavpils University, Rezekne Academy of Technologies, Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, Latvian Academy of Culture, and Ventspils University of Applied Sciences, Liepaja University, Riga Culture Secondary School, Riga No.34 Secondary School, Jelgava Spīdola State Gymnasium, Kraslava State Gymnasium, Jekabpils State Gymnasium, Smiltene Secondary School, Montessori Elementary School, Jaunmarupe Primary School. Mr. Sun Yinglai, Chargé d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia, and other representatives, Professor Pēteris Pildegovičs and Professor Shang Quanyu, Directors of LUCI, Chinese teachers, the representatives from press, universities and schools, and Chinese learners in Latvia, total of more than 150 guests attended and watched the competition. The number of participants reached a record high and the competition was a big success.

There were a total of 64 participants in the Chinese Bridge, including 14 in the adult group, 24 in the secondary school, and 24 in the elementary school. The contestants competed fiercely through four links: self-introduction, topic speeches, Chinese cultural quiz, and talent show. Their passionate speeches and well-prepared talent shows have impressed the judges and guests. Finally, Liepiņa Laura, from Confucius Institute, Abija Rebeka Anna, from Confucius Institute and  Ļeščuka Elīna, from Faculty of Humanities at the University of Latvia respectively won the first prize of the senior group, intermediate group and junior group of College students and adults. Petrova Anastasija, from Riga Anninmuižas Secondary School, Čistjakova Veronika, from Riga No.34 Secondary School and Sorokina Dana, from Riga Classical Gymnasium respectively won the first prize of the senior group, intermediate group and junior group of middle school students.  Van Lubeks Deniels from Riga No.40 Secondary School, Ņikitina Anna from Riga No.34 Secondary School and Petrovs Deniss from Riga Anninmuižas Secondary School respectively won the first prize of the senior group, intermediate group and junior group of Primary school students. Some of the winners, as representatives of Latvia, will participate in the 2019 “Chinese Bridge” Universities and Middle Schools Students Chinese Competition, communicate with excellent Chinese language learners from all over the world, and also have the priority of the 2018-2019 Chinese Government Scholarship.

As the center of Chinese teaching in the Baltic region, Latvia has made remarkable progresses in Chinese teaching in recent years. The promotion of Chinese language is flourishing. The successful completion of the 16th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese competition once again pushed Latvia’s Chinese language promotion to a new height. Besides the cultural communication between China and Latvia will be further strengthened.
