Kraslava State Gymnasium in latvia celebrated mid-autumn festival

中秋节是中国人团圆的日子,在拉脱维亚的克拉斯拉瓦小镇上,开展了一次别开生面的中秋节活动。

当地时间9月26日下午两点半,拉脱维亚克拉斯拉瓦中学的汉语教师志愿者林颖娴与学校七、八年级的数十名学生共度中秋佳节。在汉语课堂上,学生们通过教师的课件、视频与音乐等方式,了解了意蕴深厚的中秋节文化。教师依次向学生们介绍了中秋节的历史、来源、传说及习俗,课堂上其乐融融,好不热闹。在学生对中秋节的文化有了初步了解之后,教师又邀请学生一起品香茗、吃月饼。学生们听完教师讲述“后羿射日”、“嫦娥奔月”“玉兔捣药”的故事,纷纷表示中国的文化很有意思,想要多多了解中国。

精彩纷呈的中秋课堂活动以一首《水调歌头》为尾音。

Local time at 14:30 pm.,26th September in Latvia, Lin Yingxian, a Chinese volunteer teacher from the Kraslava State Gymnasium in Latvia, spent the Mid-Autumn Festival with dozens of students in the seventh and eighth grades of the school. In the Chinese class, the students learned the profound Mid-Autumn Festival culture through the teacher’s PowerPoint, video and music. The teacher introduced the history, origin, legend and customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival to the students, and the class was fun and lively. After the students had a preliminary understanding of the Mid-Autumn Festival culture, the teacher invited the students to taste the Chinese tea and eat the moon cakes. After listening to the story of “Hou Yi shooting down the sun”, “Chang E Flying to the Moon” and “A jade rabbit rams elixir of life”, the students expressed that Chinese culture is very interesting and wants to know more about China.

The colorful activity of Mid-Autumn Festival is ending with a song called “Prelude to Water Melody“.
