Taste Mooncake, Express Emotion ——CILU Celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival

 

 

中国农历8月15日是中国的传统节日——中秋节,拉脱维亚大学孔子学院本部师生共同庆祝了这个象征着团圆与祝福的节日。

当地时间9月26日晚上7时,拉脱维亚大学孔子学院本部志愿者教师滕飞携手成人高级班学生潘尼卡、安娜、沈甜甜等共度佳节。本次佳节的主题是“品月饼,寄相思”。本次活动主要围绕“中秋”展开,汉语教师志愿者依次向学生讲解中秋节的历史、习俗以及河南庆祝中秋节的方式等,内容主要涉及中秋节从唐代至今的发展历史、中秋节的习俗、河南人庆祝中秋节的方式、学习并朗诵宋词《水调歌头》、介绍不同种类的月饼等。

孔院少儿班的师生用画画、折纸的方式共同体验中国传统文化与才艺的碰撞结合。拉脱维亚本土教师马笑笑教会孩子们如何用汉字的方式表达中秋节祝福,并与少儿初级班的孩子们共同创作了“中秋团圆画作”,孩子们发挥想象,用手中的彩色的画笔描绘了自己对这个中国传统节日的理解。少儿高级班志愿者教师邹亚平首先为孩子们讲解了“嫦娥奔月”、“玉兔捣药”、“吴刚伐桂”等与中秋传说,并以一段生动有趣的视频让孩子们更直观的了解中秋的起源、发展及饮食文化。“举头望明月,低头思故乡”,少儿高级班的孩子们化身为“中秋小诗人”,共同朗诵唐诗《静夜思》,体会赏月思乡之情。最后,师生共同动手,通过折纸的方式,让一只只可爱的小“玉兔”鲜活起来,寄托了美好的心愿与祝福。

在丰富多彩的活动中,拉脱维亚的学生们体会到了中秋节节日背后的美好祝福,更深入地了解了传统节日背后象征的文化含义。

Chinese Lunar August 15th is a traditional Chinese festival – Mid-Autumn Festival, the teachers and students of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia celebrated this festival which symbolizing reunion and blessing.

Local time at 19:00 pm.,26th September in Latvia, the teacher of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia and advanced level students celebrated the Chinese traditional festival together. The topic of this festival is ‘Taste Mooncake, Express Emotion’.The activity started with the ‘Mid-Autumn’, teacher Teng Fei explained the history, custom and the ways to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, they were mainly about ‘the history from Tang Dynasty to nowadays of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the custom, the ways to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival in Henan Province, listen and read poem, introduce different mooncakes.

The teachers and students of the Confucius Institute’s children’s class used the way of drawing and origami to experience the collision of Chinese traditional culture and talent. Latvian native teacher Ma Xiaoxiao taught the children how to use the Chinese characters to express the Mid-Autumn Festival blessings, and together with the children of the children’s primary class, created the “Mid-Autumn Festival reunion paintings”. The children used their imagination to paint themselves with colored brushes in their hands. Zou Yaping, a volunteer Chinese teacher of the advanced class of children, first explained to the children the legends of the Mid-Autumn Festival, such as “嫦娥奔月”, “玉兔捣药”, “吴刚伐桂”, then she let the children understand the Mid-Autumn Festival more intuitively through a vivid and interesting video: Origin, development and food culture. “Looking at the moon, looking down on the hometown”, the children of the advanced class turned into “the Mid-Autumn Festival poet”, and jointly recited the Tang poetry “Quiet Night Thinking” to experience the feelings of homesickness. Finally, teachers and students work together to make a cute little “Jade Rabbit” by origami, and pin up a good wish and blessing.
