2015–2016 Work Summary Conference of Confucius Institute at University of Latvia held in Latvia University

May 21, 2016 local time on the afternoon, 2015– 2016 work summary conference of the Confucius Institute at University of Latvia has been held at the main building of LatviaUniversity.  Chinese Director Professor Shang Quanyu, Foreign Director Prof. Pildegovics, secretary Laura and all Chinese teachers attended this conference.

At the beginning of this meeting, Chinese Director Professor Shang Quanyu, Foreign Director Prof. Pildegovics made a brief summary about the efforts that the Chinese teachers had made during this year, highly praised and affirmed about the contribution that they had made for the development of Latvian language teaching. Prof. Pildegovics stressed that Chinese teachers and volunteers promote the development of Chinese teaching in Latvia, bringing language learning atmosphere and environment, Chinese teachers’ enthusiastic work attitude is much appreciated. Next, the Chinese teachers introduced the basic teaching content of the present teaching points during the past year and made many valuable comments, carried out in detail about future prospects of development of Chinese teaching. In the end, all the Chinese teachers have been sent to the two Directors and Secretary Laura gifts as an expression of deep gratitude for their care and a year help. Meeting ends in a warm and friendly atmosphere successful.
