Confucius Institute at University of Latvia Joins “Flowers of Song” International Choral Festival / 拉脱维亚大学孔子学院参与 “歌曲之花” 国际合唱节
3月28日,拉脱维亚大学孔子学院教师团队在何东院长带领下,赴巴尔杜内(Baldone)参加 了“歌曲之花” 国际合唱节活动。本次活动由巴尔杜内文化中心主办,以合唱为纽带联结多国文化。活动以线上线下结合形式开展,汇聚了来自拉脱维亚、格鲁吉亚、中国等多国参与者。
何东院长在活动中致辞,表达了对世界共同繁荣发展的美好期许,祝愿中拉友谊源远流长。孔子学院教师团队带来合唱《朋友》,用歌声传递中国人民的友好情谊,展现了中文教育工作者的风采,进一步推动了中拉文化交流与民心相通。
On March 28, the teaching team of the Confucius Institute at the University of Latvia, led by Director He Dong, participated in the “Flowers of Song” International Choral Festival in Baldone, Latvia.The event was hosted by the Baldone Cultural Center and used choral music as a bridge to connect cultures from different countries. Held in a hybrid online and offline format, the festival brought together participants from Latvia, Georgia, China, and other nations.
Dean He Dong delivered a speech at the event, expressing his hopes for shared prosperity and development worldwide and wishing for the friendship between China and Latvia to endure for generations to come. The Confucius Institute teaching team performed the choral piece “Pengyou(Friends),” using their voices to convey the goodwill of the Chinese people. Their performance showcased the spirit of Chinese language educators and further promoted cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China and Latvia.
